Make Your Voice Heard: Ombudsman Urges Military Families to Share Their Experiences

Our office is conducting a systemic review into the state of Canada’s modern military families. We are examining the challenges that are either unique to military families, or more pronounced for them. We are also assessing how well military families are supported by the Canadian Forces in facing these challenges.

Our research team has crossed the country - visiting ten bases and wings - speaking with senior leaders, commanders at all levels, caregivers, administrators, and of course Canadian Forces members and their families. But we would also like to hear from you.

If you are a member of a military family (18 years or older) or involved in supporting military families, I encourage you to share your perspectives and experiences with us. Simply phone or e-mail us your name and coordinates at the address or number below, and a member of our team will be in touch with you within 24 hours. Please note that discretion is assured based on the Privacy Act.
